We designed the CONVOY trailers  for urban living. Unlike a massive 2.5 meter cargo bike, CONVOY is modular and lightweight. You can detach it in three clicks and store it upright in a hallway corner. It takes up no more floor space than a suitcase and you can use it to park your bike on it, reducing the footprint of the bike.

While the frame itself is a rigid, high-strength safety component, CONVOY is designed for vertical storage. You can remove it from your bike and at only 9kg (Smart Trailer) to 14kg (e-Trailer), you can easily tip it onto its end to store it upright in a hallway or apartment corner, taking up minimal floor space.

Inspired by the safety advancements in automotive engineering, CONVOY is the world’s first "plug-and-play" e-trailer featuring active rear-wheel steering and pedal-sync. By merging advanced robotics (sense-think-act loops) with traditional cycling, we eliminate the stability and weight penalties of mechanical trailers and cargo bikes, offering a seamless smart tech experience for any rider.

Incredibly easy. Once the initial axle attachment is fitted, the trailer itself connects in seconds without tools. Using a proprietary 2-point locking mechanism, you can securely lock the trailer on or off in seconds.

The e-Trailer and the Trailer come with 3 CONVOY axles solution that covers more than 85% of adult bikes in the market:
1. 5mm Skewer for 135mm rear hub
2. Pair of threaded nuts for Solid axles
3. Thru axle 12x1.5mm for a 142mm rear hub.

The CONVOY trailer features a 520mm long integrated rack system designed to fit up one child seat and panniers or luggage. By adding the CONVOY FlexDeck accessory, you can fit up to two child seats. It is compatible with most standard rack-mounted seats (such as Thule Yepp Maxi).

NOTE: Always ensure the total weight of passengers and seats does not exceed the 50kg (110lb) maximum load.

Yes! You don't need a second trailer. Simply purchase the CONVOY DualBike Setup Kit. Once installed on your second bike, you can swap the trailer between bikes in under 10 seconds.

Yes. We offer a custom-fit WeatherShield that fully encloses the passenger area. It features clear, UV-resistant windows and a ventilated front to prevent fogging, keeping your kids dry and shielded from the wind.

NOTE: The WeatherShield must be used in conjunction with the CONVOY FlexDeck.

The WeatherShield has UV protection built in, so you can use it for sunny days as well as rainy ones.

The e-Trailer and Trailer feature an ergonomic seating area with an optional WeatherShield to make the ride as comfortable as possible for children. The active steering prevents the jerking motion common in traditional trailers, providing a significantly smoother, more stable experience for passengers.

We stand by our engineering. CONVOY comes with a 3-year limited warranty covering the frame and  a 2-year limited warranty covering the e-Drive system (motor, battery and electronic components), giving you peace of mind for all your family adventures.

To keep your CONVOY performing like a high-tech partner, regular upkeep is essential.

Before every ride, we recommend a 30-second "Safety Scan":

1. The Click: Ensure the 2-point locking mechanism is fully engaged and in the lock position.
2. The Light: Double-tap the bottom on the trailer HMI display to confirm the integrated rear LED is functioning.
3. The Tire: Give the 14" tire a quick squeeze; it should feel firm to ensure the motor can provide efficient torque.

For daily commuters, we recommend a "Home Check-up" every 3 months and a professional inspection once a year. Because the CONVOY doesn't have a chain or gears, the mechanical maintenance is significantly lower than a standard e-bike, but the axle clamps should be checked for tightness and the fork and cargo rack should be checked for rattle. Make sure to maintain your bike with a special care on brakes and axle.

No. You can use a damp cloth and mild soapy water to keep it looking fresh. Never use a high-pressure power washer. While the CONVOY is weather-resistant, high-pressure water can bypass seals and damage the internal electronic components.

The integrated 357Wh battery provides a range of approximately 30km (19 miles) on a single charge, depending on the load and terrain.

Yes. You can view real-time battery percentages through the HMI display installed in the trailer or through the CONVOY App on your smartphone. The app also allows you to manage power settings to extend your range when needed.

To make life simple, CONVOY charges via a 42V, 2.5A charger (similar to any e-bike) with a standard cable (EU and UK plug models provided).

Yes. As a smart device, we occasionally release Over-the-Air (OTA) updates via the CONVOY App. These updates can optimise motor efficiency, improve steering responsiveness, or add new safety features. The app will notify you when an update is available; simply keep your phone near the trailer while it installs.

Absolutely. CONVOY is engineered to meet and exceed international safety standards, including EN 15918 (the European standard for bicycle trailers).

Safety is built into the design. CONVOY features a K-mark certified, large integrated LED tail light and high-visibility reflective elements, ensuring you are seen from a distance even in low-light conditions.

Yes. Because of its InLine design and active steering, CONVOY stays narrow and predictable. CONVOY tracks exactly where your bike goes, making it safer for narrow cycle lanes and busy city streets.

CONVOY can carry up to 2 children, approx. ages 1 to 7 and a max. weight of 22 kg each.

NOTE: You must install the optional CONVOY FlexDeck to carry 2 children.

We know many riders already have a favorite set of panniers. If yours are mounted to a rear cargo rack, then yes! It’s very easy to connect them to CONVOY’s 16mm diameter pannier rail.

Yes. CONVOY features a digital anti-theft lock controlled via the app, which disables the motor and steering system. Similar to a bicycle, we recommend additional security with regular bicycle locks to prevent unauthorised removal: a long lock to secure it to your bike and city infrastructure or 2 regular locks.

The e-Trailer and the Smart Trailer come with one battery that has a 30 km range, which will cover a common day of errands and commutes in the city. For even longer trips, you can buy a spare battery as a stand-alone accessory.

Of course. You can buy replacement tires from our website at any time or check with your closest CONVOY authorised dealer. This is a standard tire size (14” x 2.5”) to fit a 254mm rim, so it can be sourced easily from multiple suppliers.

Most trailers are passive — they are dead weight that you have to pull. The e-Trailer is active. It features its own 250W motor and Active Rear-Wheel Steering. It doesn’t just follow you; it works with you, eliminating the heavy tug of a traditional trailer and staying perfectly in line with your bike, even in tight city turns.

Actually, with the CONVOY E-trailer it makes it easier! Thanks to our PAS (Pedal Assist System), the e-Trailer senses your pedaling and provides an electric boost. It’s like having a permanent tailwind. Even with a full 50kg load (two kids or a massive grocery haul), the e-Trailer pushes its own weight and the rider so your ride feels light and natural.

The e-Trailer comes with a 360Wh swappable battery that gives you up to 30km of assist, more than enough for a full day of school runs, commutes, and errands. When it’s low, just pop the battery out and charge it at your desk or kitchen counter using a standard outlet. A full charge will take 3.5 hours.
